Jose Asuncion is a filmmaker and lecturer in Film Studies at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. He received an MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California. As a Director of Photography on August at Akiko's, he contributed to a film that The New Yorker named one of the best films of 2019. At ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, he teaches Film History and Film Editing, encouraging students to approach filmmaking with intention and to understand the impact of even the smallest creative decisions.
