ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Healthcare Faculty Awarded $100,000 grant from the American Osteopathic Association
06/26/2026Faculty members from ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s health professions schools continue to demonstrate their commitment to expanding new medical horizons, as they were just awarded a $100,000 grant from the American Osteopathic Association to study new treatment options for knee osteoarthritis. For the next two years, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ faculty and collaborative team members will utilize these funds to conduct a pilot clinical trial that will test the efficacy of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) combined with Physical Therapy (PT) to improve knee pain and function in adult patients.
